Bad day. Nuff said.

Just finished reading "Do Me No Harm" by Julia Corbin - British psychological thriller. OK, met my need for distraction.

About to start "The Sudden Arrival of Violence" by Malcolm Mackay - last part of a trilogy by new Scottish author. The first two were fabulous, totally new approach to the topic of crime and its perpetrators, so I've been looking forward to this and hope he manages to step things forward as he did with the second volume.

Looking forward to reading... nothing in particular. I'd like to discover an author that's got a good back catalogue. The last one I really loved was Amy Bloom.

Today I am grateful for: books; central heating; a fridge; clean water; sleeping pills
