this week has left me breathless. it was almost alays packed to the brim. and while i've been begging for a break, knowing i have almost 2 weeks of free time ahead, it's almost taunting me. i've no idea what to do. hahaha. hmmm. must fill them up or i'll feel slightly lonely and miserable at home, from the sudden change!

i'm also about to make a list of things to shop for in transit before i leave that place for good. so surreal. i don't wanna leave anymore. i wanna stay. i want things to remain the way they are. i don't like changes. uni? ugh.

but anyhow, before i dwell on the unhappy stuff, let's get on with the happy happenings of the week. :) on wednesday, met audrey and bixia to go for ntu medical check up. i think i harped on it for a really long time afterwards cos i enjoyed it and i peed in a cup for the first time. yes, it was fun. :D

then audrey and i headed down to biopolis to wait for her mum to drive us to holland v to meet the other girls, and we ended up having a bit of fun ourselves. who'd have thought biopolis was actually a really cool place to explore?

it has the cutest building names!

and gigantic structures

and is colourful!

and looks like a foreign land. me lost in translation. hahaa

what a cute address!

we were at the matrix!

yep, that was really taken before a security guard stopped us and told us photography wasn't allowed in that area. oops!

then at holland v, met up with ida, huixian, rongxin, selina and xingying. i think holland v is a place that's for richies and is a major terror to go to when it pours. shudder. HAHA. but their restaurants are nice :)

random fancy place that sells kitchenware

greatest calamari i've ever tasted, at an italian restaurant, Amici. (the food was splendid and they had the most delightful service! :p)

all of us!

ida and moi

and the east siders. the train ride back was really the most fun part of the gathering. lmao.

then on friday, went down to east coast park to meet bixia and brenda. i don't think the three of us have hung out since we returned from taiwan. hmmm.

anyhoo, we wanted to try the cable ski thing but there was quite a bunch of people. so we went kayaking instead. despite being apprehensive initially, it actually worked out pretty okay. the kayaks were much newer and better than the OBS ones, and we had lifejackets. it was almost difficult to be capsized.

me and bixia were on a double while bren was on a single. we raced a little, swam from end to end of the restricted parameters and just let the waves take us while we slacked and chatted about everything and everyone. :) it was lovely!

our wristbands (sabretooth tiger!)

the amazing shower area

yes, it actually was open-air on top, so we could see the pretty sky!

i know right... girls!

our food. satays, gosh, wonder when i last had them. if you look carefully, the plate that had the most food was bixia's. and she wanted us to get a lot more food.

haha

all of us

think i'll talk about the weekends another time. waaaay too many pictures. let's just say i had a blast and i'm slightly lobsterish (read: burnt). :)

gonna bring my camera to work this week and snap everything i'm gonna miss! :(

ahhh audrey, uni... we're in this together. le sigh.
