We watched Lucky # Slevin last night. I was skeptical because I hadn't heard of it. Then again, I don't want too much TV besides Big Brother in the summer and fracking Battlestar.

Tonight I get to watch crap while I box up buddhas for Aaron. He hates it. SuperNanny, WifeSwap, the Bachelor, Laguna Beach, Runway: all guilty plessures I take in SPARINGLY. Hope there's something good on. I'm actually pulling for Emmitt Smith to win the dancing show. Did I just say that? Well, it's just that his competitor has always rubbed me the wrong way since his Cavaricci-wearing days on the old Saturday morning favorite Head of the Class. Not "Screech" or "Zach Morris." The other one. What's his name?

Anyway, it's important I don't give away anything about the movie besides the FACT that Josh Hartnett (was he once the little brother on Roseanne?) was outstanding. Been seeing him here and there. Liked him as "Trip" in Virgin Suicides; I liked him because of Lux.

Don't be deterred by the ethnic-sounding, "Slevin." The movie also stars Bruce Willis, who seems to have more time on his hands as a bachelor; Lucy Lui, who I could take or leave but she's cute; and Morgan Freeman. Danny Aiello-- always a bridesmaid never a bride--was in there somewhere too; oh yeah, so was Josh Hartnett's chest.
