Yesterday's post was not nice. It's not me. "Me" was the one who, when I impulsively ran for the camera to capture Dallas on the changing table as I had done for his bro and sis, panicked envisioning 15 m.o. Dallas about to fall, raced to him with camera in hand, and cracked the innocence out of my knee on the doorway.

It took a good four seconds for my brain to register the pain. Dallas watched me tear up and curl up in agony. "It...hurts...sooooooooooooooooo...bad!" I howled for two minutes.

Nothing has hurt me that bad for no reason. Not even yesterday's me has enough balls.
