The little kid, the one who lives for scoop shovels and bear caves, he works fast. He wasn't up a half hour more than me and helped himself to a blue Gogurt. He chopped it up with Rachel's scissors before losing them to under the couch. Tiny plastic triangles on my chair, along with yogurt. Along with yogurt on the living room floor, all down his shirt dried up now, all over his blue mouth. The other day it was chips taken from Rachel's lunch and gum he thought he got away with eating, which was her fruit roll-up .... I got up when I thought I smelled burnt toast. While he can't reach the bread, he can reach the toaster. I'd better move it.
