I'm back. I'm me again. I was never one for haunted houses anyway (dad took me when I was little--thought I wouldn't remember). I guess watching all this death and dormancy finally hit me. It's not the amount of snow, it's the lack of sunshine. Even the universe has its quirks. And I have a million stories with no endings in my head. Like my flower bed in the back--full of bulbs. And they multiply underground. Very Fraggle Rock. And of course Lloyd has to add to the mystery by being in love with a book right now called Planting a Rainbow. The kid's pretty good at doing stuff like that. Last night I opted for an AA meeting instead of a funeral. An Irish boy skirted death and led a hundred people down a safe path--at least for a day. While I avoided meeting another man who I was told lost his battle with depression. RIP, good, good man. Holy mackerel! I almost forgot. Watched the movie, The King, last night. You all MUST, MUST, MUST see this movie. And a very pertinent line was also said by my Irish friend, which blows me away still. I wish you all the best day ever. I'm glad you're all here.
