I'm still around. Not been around here, but around where I'm at. Busy.

How's Lisa Marie?

Occupied with kids and the good stuff that makes me me again. Was doing a paper journal for a while there too. I find I punctuate better on paper for some reason--pace? the print size? loops lacking here?

It's one thing to love, or attempt to show what interest in people I was taught/learned to muster, a person stuck in the bottom of a 40 oz. (as I like to refer to the alcoholism many little-sexed wives suffer through or that which children of such men and those women are deprived of and sent off into the world incomplete and hurting) and another to love or whatever one who might be dead on the basement floor while I'm upstairs reading Goodnight Moon and Ernie and Bert Can ... Can You?

Forgive me for being that jagged out, neurotic sap. I circled around addiction once or twice--food, daily; cigs seven years ago; and I'll take a warm up on my coffee please--but I acted as normal as any scaredy cat would in THAT situation. I just didn't know it then. I want no sympathy. No more oohs and aahs. I was sick of myself, I can't imagine what my caricature was like.

My current class is Chemical Dependency in the Workplace ...Bayer made heroin to break morphine addiction. The term hippies comes from the tender hips of the opium addicts, lying on their sides to smoke. Junkies comes from those after WWII looking for junk to sell to support their drug habits. Vietnam soldiers under 21 used heroin instead. Why not? Crack is the most popular form of cocaine. Only 6% of the population honestly uses illicit drugs. 51% alcohol. Neither for me. The nation's drug problem was incredibly worse in the 80's. The government strategy is to reduce the number of drug dealers in order to raise the price of street drugs. It's not working. 500,000 inmates on drug-related charges sit in federal prisons. New drugs are easier to regulate than established drugs (I think ecstasy should be considered a gateway drug). Heroin is the drug so easy to relapse on because of its intense nostalgia factor. I told him so.

A fly in my house is stealing my attention now....
