My "Now" entry from two days ago was inspired by a question my instructor from movie class posed: Describe the sounds you hear right now (probably in your home). Those sounds, like the sounds carefully selected by a filmmaker for characterization, characterize me.

And here's what's more important than story of film: characters, plot, ideas, and style.

I may get back to this later. My husband took the kids away for a couple hours and holy Jesus I don't want to spend all my time in one place :)
