Taking shit back to K Mart

Xmas turned out much better once I filtered through gifts for kids and took some back to K Mart two days before. I realized when wrapping I had bought way too much. I gave my fam pocket Buddha or Tao books--a gift that keeps on giving, Clark.

I made the two awake kids wait an hour for me to get more sleep. 6:30 is crazier than flying reindeer! Rachel kept Lloyd at bay, not allowing him to touch anything. Baby finished the reindeer's half-eaten carrot and Santa's half-eaten cookie. The gifts of note were Rachel's Nintendo DS and the boys' basketball hoop, which is nice in the living room.

My holiday diet was rather rich for my gullet and I'm still paying the price today. Saying no to one talking food, which was McDonald's for lunch, builds my super powers back up and puts me on the good side, leaving the fine line in the dust. I loaded up on citrus instead of peanut butter morsels grocery shopping this evening. Is there a separate heaven for those with peanut allergies? Must be, because I know heaven is part peanut butter everything. C'mon, Ohio is known for its Buckeye Balls

Hope all enjoyed the holiday. What I love about it is when it's over. I feel much happier than I have all month. I love New Year's too because no one expects me to make plans with them; except for my husband. We're planning on Chinese and a movie or two for the eve and a pork roast for the day of.

I Can't believe it's been one full year here. Seems like not too long ago we were feeling the holiday willies and Eric Mayer told this story.
