Why laziness gets a bad rap

This morning, I answered a phone call from someone I thought might be my school counselor and got an angry law firm instead. I talked to the same man last week and jotted down the info: phone number, file number. I gave the note to my husband the same day. He then made an appointment with a lawyer for Monday. (Finally! Geez! I'll never be called a nag; I didn't nag him to save his ass when he could have. I did suggest he take the credit card company's final offer to settle a $23K debt for just $4k, which I had the money to do but he decided to ignore.) I think it is serious now. The man told me he was suing my husband today. I don't know what that means but I don't like the sound of it. Maybe I'm being sued too. Who knows. I can't say I feel bad for him. I'm angry. He was lazy about this. The man on the phone said my husband was stalling, which seems to speak more highly of my husband than what the reality is. My husband was just plain lazy. The stars say handle things promptly this year. Unfortunately, it was the law firm, not him, who complied.
