So last week we got Jinx spayed and declawed. She's fine now, except that they had to shave her tummy to do it. I think they shaved way more than they needed to, but what do I know? I'm a copyeditor, not a doctor. (And even paper cuts make me squeamish.)

When she lies down sideways, it looks like someone took a bite out of her. But Dick Cheney hasn't been around here in a while.
