No Knowing the Know of the Knowing No

The minute we claim to "know" something, or convince ourselves that we do know something, we shut ourselves off from other possibilities and from other ideas or "guesses."

I'd like to believe the answers aren't found at one distinct, higher point. Instead they hide amongst those guesses and amongst those ideas that often hover below what most imagine to be "truth." We can't name them, they are just there, floating amongst the chaos of opposing theories and conflicting belief systems. In this confusion we sort out or implode as a result of our difficulties. Either way, our actions and their outcomes bring new order to the system. We attempt to sustain BALANCE, not perfection, by always exploring those possibilities and never settling on truth or one peak of absolute knowledge. Nature shows us that we evolve in this way, and so must our thought processes.

If creatures don't evolve in the face of environmental changes they die. And so it never ends with humans, our "social problems," our beliefs, questions, and answers. These things only grow, change, and offer new challenges. Throughout time, when we've planted our heels in the ground and claimed to "know" anything, we've died just like those animals that can't evolve quickly enough.

Of course I can't know any of this. I'm just having fun guessing. ;)
