2004-10-07 9:34 PM The Amazing Editor I see Amazing Stories has appointed a new editor. He is Jeff Berkwits, and I'm not at all familiar with him.
The press release says, "His background as a science-fiction contributor and his passion for the genre are going to establish Amazing Stories as the definitive voice..." blah, blah, blah. It doesn't seem particularly impressive for someone who's going to edit a magazine that used to be (and may be again) a very important market for short SF. But his new gig as editor of Amazing gives him instant respectability. He is now a person I must impress with my work. Look out, Jeff, here it comes!
