2004-10-11 11:11 AM Malcolm Mackeras was correct in Australia: Now what about America? Malcolm Mackerras' prediction on 5 January 2004 about the outcome of the Australian election (9 October 2004) [Prediction: 20 seat majority to Liberal/National Coalition] was substantially correct and actually VERY close to reality. (Visit the Australian Electoral Commission's Vitrual Tally Room.)
Also see Malcolm Mackerras' article in The Australian on 11 October 2004. As a contrast, see the somewhat pathetic Phillip Adams' article on 9 October. +++++++ Now, we have only weeks to see whether his prediction (on 16 February 2004) of a John Kerry -- Democratic Party -- win (287 Electoral College votes) in the American presidential election of 2004 is also valid. _____ Peter Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
