2005-03-26 2:40 AM Good Friday Here's another when you'll just have to stick with me. (Maybe I should write an entry that I can just refer to when I use a silly acronym like JSWM. Is there such an acronym already?)
Good Friday is the commemoration of the day when Jesus Christ was crucified (i.e. OUCH! had his palms or lower fore-arms nailed to a cross-piece on a tree-trunk, and his feet nailed to a foot-pad off the tree.) Later, at a bit after 3pm local, there was a great commotion as he "gave up the ghost". So, where is there an up-side (i.e. Good) to this? It's "good" because the public reaction has always been, "Shame on those XXX." (*where xxx = get out while the worry-level was relatively slight.) _____ Peter Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
