Okay, so you don't personally know a Paralympian? So, it's difficult to get interested in the coverage?

I DO know a Paralympian personally, and I invite you to help me and my family to 'urge' this young lady to great things in Beijing.


Louise Ellery is well known to us: We knew her as she grew up; We visited her and her family in the hospital just days after her car accident as we were visiting that city on holidays; and, we have followed her recovery and successes in all aspects of her life since then.

She came back from enormous difficulties, including a recent shoulder reconstruction that was timed so she could train for Beijing, and... well, she has held the World Record for her category of Shot Put!

So, now you have no excuse; you are only two degrees of separation from a Paralympian.
