2008-10-21 11:12 PM 21 October - Trafalgar (animation) Today, 21 October, is celebrated as Trafalgar Day, the anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar.
Okay, so why is a sea battle in 1805 so important to remember today? Here's the story, shown as an animation. I suggest that several lessons can be gained today: * War means there will be casualties, and the highest officials should not think they are immune to attack. [Sérgio Vieira de Mello] * Sometimes, war happens in realy odd, out-of-the-way places, and then the name becomes famous.
