In the 2008 elections in the USA, there were calibration irregularities in the voting machines. They were "ES&S's iVotronic touch-screen machines [that] were flipping their votes from" one candidate to another, due to touch screen alignment problems. It may be worth checking on this matter in your voting area. A simple question, "Has the touch screen been calibrated today?" LOOK as your finger makes its selection. QUESTION, IMMEDIATELY, a voting official, and have then see what is happening, if there has been an issue with your vote.
