Not much going on, yet there are so many changes, I want to scream! How can that be? I am trying to be ready for Christmas, but seems I haven't got any money for it, just like everyone else these days. My store manager is transferring to a different position, and location. I am getting a former supervisor as a store manager. She and I have a history, and we may not mesh well. I am not looking forward to this at all. I have the opportunity to also be transferred, but it is a long way from home, and since I normally ride a motorcycle to work, it is also the wrong time of year. I have asked to stick it out where I am, and transfer in the spring. Earlier, if the two of us are not getting along well. I printed out a wish list for my kids. It also has sizing for shirts, pants, shoes, gloves, and rings. I have asked favorite colors, flowers, colognes and perfumes, as well as stores. I asked for 5 things on a "wish list". This has opened my eyes a lot, and I highly recommend making one for your own family. This way, spouses have no excuse for not knowing what size your finger is. (too wishful?) I baby-sit tomorrow. As I sit here now, I think, man, I hate doing that. But when I am with that baby, I feel so fortunate to spend such quality time with her. She gets so excited to see me, that she smiles, and bounces, and yells! It is so satisfying. I love it! My sink is full of dirty dishes, but we have not eaten out for a week or more, and that is fabulous. Mike has made dinner 3 nights in a row, and I really need to do something nice tomorrow night.
