So, The kids came by today to open their stockings...

Alisha and Chris were very pleased with the bounty they found inside. Since Chris is new to motorcycling, we found items such as anti-fog, and a little finger squeegee to fit inside. He also received base-layer moisture-wicking clothing. I don't remember what else, but he seemed pleased.
Alisha got a "Mommies First Christmas" ornament, that she was delighted with, and a digital keychain that I downloaded with pictures from my cell phone. There was a picture with Aurelia and the cat, whom they had to put down after battling with diabetes for over a year.
Aurelia got a few things from grandma. A Fisher-Price Little People Noah's Ark was the big item, and several little things that fit inside her stocking.

Brittany found a pretty cool Archie McPhee shopping bag, and ice-cube swizzle sticks among her stash.
Ryan was happy to find a mini-poker set, and a back scrubber among his items.

Caitlyn received an Ariel ornament, the Dark Knight DVD, and a flank-steak cooker for a camp fire.
Willy got a lot of Old Spice stuff, since that is what Caitlyn likes. He also got a USB vacuum for the computer, that he thought was pretty cool.

All three of my girls had to open three things at the same time, as they each got them; hand soap, leather driving gloves, and a Wusthof kitchen shear/knife set. They all loved those, saying the gloves are a week or two late, with the weather being so cold lately.

After Alisha and Chris left, to get to his parents home, Mike and I elected to give the four remaining kids special items, that the others did not get. Those being "sexy-time" items, such as lotions, rubs, oils and condoms. We made them open each of them, in front of us. It was quite funny. Caitlyn was pretty embarrassed, but we know what they do in their spare time, with her having overnighters quite frequently. We were not born yesterday, and were young once ourselves. They are all consenting adults, even if we will forever call them our children. Caitlyn said she didn't want to say what was on her mind, because she didn't want to embarrass me. I said it would take quite a lot to do that, so she went into her bedroom, and came out, thrusting a book at me. She said, 'this is what I got for Willy' It was a sex book, something about a different position for every day of the year. I laughed and thrust it back at her, saying, "I hope they cut me and your dads' heads out good enough do you don't really recognize us." That got her a little upset, and a bit turned off by the book, but all in good fun.

All those kids pooled together, and got Mike and I a Wii. They wrote on the card they really want to try to make it game night at our house once a month or so, with them all getting together to play it. They all have gaming systems, but I think Willy is the only one with a Wii. If they really do make it year, even once every two months, that would be the best gift ever. I look forward to it.
