The last few weeks have been pretty hard at work. Our new store manager thinks she knows it all, but really...She has cut the staff hours, and our projected sales are so far under actual sales, that those of us working, are overwhelmed. I finally let the supervisor know my feelings yesterday, that he actually did something about it. Today we had extra crew in, and all was well again. I was in fact a bit bored, as I was only doing one persons job, instead of two and three at the same time. The supe sent me a text, asking what tomorrows schedule looks like. I was working at the time, and wasn't able to get to the schedule book to see, but I sent him a text back, saying "it looks perfect, I am off!" Needless to say, he was not thrilled with that answer...said he cannot fix the entire problem without knowing these things...whatever, I was kidding, and too busy to get to it right then, plus, the store manager was in the office at the time. I called the supe and told him I felt as if I was going behind B's back, altering the schedule. It doesn't feel right at all to me, even if I don't get along with her. All I know for sure, is when I got home today, I wasn't dragging my butt nearly the same as I have daily for 3 weeks. Change can be a good thing. |
