It seems I have been so busy lately, that I have not slowed down to relax. I am having problems sleeping. I chose the wrong button on my cell phone last night, and had the thing on "vibrate", instead of "alarm only". It lets me know each time I receive an e-mail, and vibrated all night. Then, when the alarm was sounding, it merely vibrated, and I was ready to throw it across the room. If I had been soundly sleeping, I don't think it would have aroused me at all. Too many things on my mind right now...a dear friend of mine had to be incarcerated overnight, for a DUI she got last summer. Not that I think driving under the influence in anyway is right, but her circumstances were hardly right, as the first officer that fateful night was letting her go, as she passed every single sobriety test, when the next guy comes along, and feels the need to show his superiority. She has gone through every hoop, at great expense. She did not miss a single "class", and was thrown for a loop when she got word that the state somehow didn't like the original plan they had agreed upon. oh well, she is out now, and she survived. Hopefully she will get fer license back soon, she has definitely learned her lesson, and has sworn off all of that. I am still working on printing the programs for the wedding. I still think this printer is not going to last. It is making a "oil me" type squeak, and not shutting down after the allotted number of documents print. I will try to do a few at a time, at various times of the day, so it gets a break. Shall we place bets on it? At work, I told the kids that my blog is getting 200+ hits a day. They all want to read it, but I tell them I write about them, and that might not be conducive. I don't even want them to know my e-mail...I don't know still, I sure don't want my superiors reading this stuff... I look forward to watching Aurelia tomorrow. I have no big plans all day, just sit at her place, and enjoy her. |
