When I had just turned 18, I was kicked off my mother's insurance. It might have been state-aid, or whatever, but I became one of millions without coverage. How to celebrate? Dive into the deep end of a swimming pool, and swim under water to the shallow end, of course. And what did I meet while underwater? It was the ramp that led to the shallow end, of course. And with what body part did I meet this ramp? My front tooth, of course...

It broke in half, from bottom to top half, not across it half. Over the years, I have had to have that same broken tooth repaired numerous times.

Why do I bring this up? Because, now, of all times, I need to get it fixed again. I was eating peanut brittle last night, when I felt it go. This always pisses me off, and right now it is the worst possible time. A Friday night and my insurance still isn't straightened out to the point that they have let me know I am covered. Which brings yet another story, that I won;t tell during this posting.

So, I need to find a dentist that can fix this on a Saturday. Since I look like a hillbilly, I refuse to go out in public, and work is out of the question. Monday is a holiday, and who knows if a dentist office will be open? I would sure rather sit home all day Tuesday than see a dentist or go to work, so I can the inaugaration. When can I get this fixed, and when can I return to work?

My front lip is hurting, because the broken tooth is rubbing on it, and causing it to bleed. My tongue can't stay away from it, I am miserable. I am pissed off at diving into a pool, so many years ago...it is still haunting me.
