"B" called me this morning, and said I had to come in to work. Apparently they cannot live without me. I was told I could leave at 3:00, instead of 7:00, if I wanted. I left at three. Don't give me that choice if you really want me to stay. We were busy at least. I was the one in charge, yet "B" told crew where to be, and kept bothering me with silly questions for the one hour she was there with me. The best part about Mondays, is she works the creepy early shift that day, and is off at noon. I think she wants me to start taking that shift, and I will not do it. Imagine waking at 2am to start your day, just one day a week...not for me, hell no. I did not make it to see the high school games, instead Mike and I went out to dinner, and looking around a bit, just sort of a lot of nothing. He then wondered why I was so gloomy. A perfect day for me shot to hell. Now, I get to work tomorrow, and miss the most important inauguration of my lifetime. That will really suck for me. And yet, I am lucky to have a job... |
