Nothing to report from today...so a funny "Yong" story... The owner of my work place, was walking through the kitchen area, with a contractor. They were taking measurements for a remodel project, and getting estimates. The guy had a notepad and pencil and a standard tape measure. He was measuring absolutely everything under the sun back there. He was doing an extremly good job with it. Dennis (the guy that signs my check) was sticking right there with him, and keeping up a friendly conversation. We were open for business, and getting quite busy, but no big deal, as they didn't take up a lot of room, and kept moving along at a pretty good clip. The guy was so intent, he wasn't paying any attention whatsoever as to what we were doing. Then Yong bends over a box of fries, and opens it, and begins to pour the contents into the "hopper". The guy then spreads out his tape mesaure directly behind her and measures from the hopper to the freezer. Now this catches my eye, and I yell out, without thinking (which I do a lot of..the not thinking part) "Yong, he is measuring your ass to see if it will fit in the new kitchen!" oopsie...should not have said that... That guy nearly lost himself. Not like I would have, but he started apologizing to her, to Dennis, to me, to anyone that would listen to his pleas. Dennis had doubled over, and ran from the room, laughing hysterically. He had tears in his eyes, and I knew I would not be in any type of trouble, but that contractor, thought he would indeed be fired from his job for letting that happen. Dennis says that guy still apologizes to this day, and still Dennis laughs at him, and the thought... This was not the first time I made him laugh, it is just the first time i have posted about it. At home tonight, I walk in to a home with very good scents...Mike has made homemade meatballs (beef and pork mixture), and we had meatball subs, with baked potato skins. Yummy! He must want something...I better go accomodate, huh? |
