To get the SuperBowl off, I should have requested it prior to December 15th. I failed at that, so I was put on the schedule. I am probably the only person at my store to have any desire to watch it, yet I was to be at work.

My boss asked me why I didn't request it the other day, and I told her I just didn't know which day it was, and that back in December there were so many other things going on, the SuperBowl was the farthest thing from my mind.

Seems she did pretty much the same thing as me. When she made the schedule, she had not noticed it was SuperBowl Sunday, and scheduled for a rather busy day. Typically, it is a rather SLOW day instead. She said then, that she would look it over, and see if maybe I could get out of there early.

I missed two calls while I was in the shower getting ready to leave. Both from the workplace. I called back, and asked what was up. I was told I had a choice. I could either come in and work my whole shift, work just part of it, of take the entire day off. WHAT, WHAT? ummmm....that isn't much of a choice for me. I stayed home.

Mike and I made a mad dash with about 10,000 of our closest friends, and went to Coscto. Holy crap that was a madhouse, even at 10:00 in the morning. We got our few items, and came home.

Brittany and Ryan were here nearly all day. They are still here as I type this, at 11pm. Caitlyn has been here nearly all day, and even Willy made an appearance.

Food was plentiful, and the game turned out to be a decent, down to the wire game. The commercials were entertaining for the most part. Best of all, we played Wii before and after, and pulled out table games (well only Boggle) and played for hours. Good Times...
