Two guys are painting the Playland today and tomorrow. These are men that work for us, in the maintenance field. One of them, works for the company, and travels to each of our stores, and is the general fix-it guy. This guy has been around for a long time, and I have known him for at least 6 years. He is very calm, and has virtually no sense of humor. I always try to get a laugh out of him, and the last couple of years, he has done just that, a little. He told me a story a couple of weeks ago, when he was stationed in Korea back in the day. They supplied condoms to the soldiers, in a bowl at a front desk. He says they did not go through too many of them, until one day, he decided to put them into three seperate bowls. He labeled them small, medium, and large. Of course, there was only one size, but the large bowl kept running low, and they would refill it from the other bowls... So today, He takes a break from painting, and goes behind the counter, where I was. We talked for a minute, and he turns to leave. The back of his shirt, was totally covered in dust. I am appalled that he would come behind the counter like that, but he didn't know they were there. I said to him, "Oh, man, there is thousands of dust balls on your shirt!" He stops in his tracks, and wiggles around, trying to make them land on me...I then say to him, "Dont you shake your balls at me!" He instantly turned bright red, and looked back at me, and smiled, shook his head, and left quickly... We woke to snow on the ground this morning. I realized Mike's helmet was here, and I thought he drove the Jeep, so I would have to ride my bike. I thought, that is cool, I work 10-6, I can do that...when I opened the front door, and saw the snow...I nearly pooped myself. I am so tired of this! Puh-lease...can't we have spring yet? I hate that stupid groundhog. I came home to dinner ready to eat...YAY! |
