I see the deposit in my bank account is "pending". YAY! I will check again tomorrow, and then it will be treated as a stimulus check. There are three big ticket items we will try to purchase in the coming days...

1) tv...Mike has been dying for one, I think it is time. Have our eyes on a 42" Visio from Costco. $100 off brings it into the right price range. Trip to Portland cuts the sales tax? ummm..no, not doing that.

2) GPS Unit...Since we are using the one that comes with Verizon Cell phone service, we don't know too much about these. We will attend the Cycle Barn's seminar on the 28th. We want one that is weather proof for the motorcycle. I am not all together sold that we need two of these. Remember, I was the last person on the planet to get a cell phone. He would use it daily, and like video games, I wont learn how with his assistance. I will do it alone, therefore a cheaper, simple model would suffice for me. We could go back to a more basic cell phone plan, even if I would lose the ESPN updates (dammit)

3) Kindle 2...omg, I really want one of these. especially for taking with me on trips. Talk about packability. I will go wild buying books to download onto it. I can end my newspaper subscription, too. Cost a few cents a day for the paper to go directly to the Kindle each morning. This would be just frivolous, and soley for me. Mike would not care one bit about it. If it doesnt have a centerfold, he probably isn't going to be reading it (j/k)

Think that will help this economy?

The kids at work really, really want to be able to read this blog. If I allowed them to know where to find it, then, they would know that I am truly boring most of the time. I told the painter guy from yesterdays story that I wrote about him. His first question was, "You didn't use my name, did you?" Nope, I just said you were boring, and a prude, or something like that...He asked me if I had written about my name tag from a few years ago. Apparently that left quite the impression on him, so I will tell the story here someday, when I have nothing to write about.

I worked an early shift today, so I went to Costco to pick up a few things with the coupon book before I lose it, and check those TV prices. I bought one of the rotisserie chickens, and a jar of pesto. At work, I changeD one of the cream dispensers today, so I put a cup underneath it, and saved the bottom of the bag stuff. I usually use half and half, but when the real stuff is there for the taking, I use that. We probably waste 12 ounces or so each time we change it. It makes awesome fettuccini. yummy. I also got a box of Skinny Cow ice cream bars. Fabulous dinner tonight!
