I arrived at work a few minutes early, so I could grab a bite to eat prior to the start of my shift at 11. I had won a bet and today was tamales for me day! Anyway, I was up front, behind the counter, and there was a long line of guests that needed their orders taken. I just started taking the orders, for 10 minutes or so, and lost those few "me" minutes. So, at 11:00, when a couple others started work, I ran to the break room, and scarfed down one tamale. I returned upfront, and hell broke loose. I wasn't given a chance to look at the schedule, see where I wanted crew working, or whom needed breaks, or much of anything. The opening manager said, "I am off", and, "Oh, the guy in back booth needs a break" and she left...I sent Mary to cover that break, and Derrick and I were alone up front. We got pretty busy. B came by, and started wroking fries...nothing else, just fries. I would take a couple orders, then pick up several for the counter, and drive thru, then take some more, and so on. She just made fries...Then Lily got involved. Of course, all she ever does is run for drive-thru, so that is what she did. I was still taking all counter orders, and pickin up all counter orders. Then Mary came back, so I was just picking up counter orders. Then, B says to Lily...(it was nearly twelve now) to see where you want to put the 12:00 crew. WHAT WHAT?? Is is MY FLOOR! I get to do that...whatever...we did a $1,100 hour.IF it really would have been my floor, those two would have been in the office and not helping me anyway. I would have set up the plan without using either of them. If they would have helped me, they would only do twpo things 1) run for drive-thru 2) take seconds orders in drive-thru.

When I was put into the grill area to cover a break, I was stuck there for 2 or 3 hours. I looked at the schedule, and B had made changes on it, saying that Lily would be running the shift today, and doing the deposit. I asked Lily why, and she said B said I was stressed....ummm...ya think? She treats me like a "piece of shit on her shoe" (Not my line, but I am borrowing it, both talking about the same person...IF I would have been given the time to make up a floor plan, and the crew to do the job then I would not have been the least bit stressed. It is B that causes 99% of any stress I have had since the death of my mother last year. One day, I am going to go down ina blaze of glory...She will witness the best tyrade I will ba able to produce. It will feel so good...I may be unemployed at that point, but it will be fun.

Caitlyn had dinner waiting for me. Crockpot pot roast...

Oh, and my sisters 16 year old daughter sent me a text this morning...she was riding one of the newly aquired horses at a very high rate of speed, and the saddle came loose. It fell, and so did she. She suffered a broken shoulder and a broken pelvis. (this is all thru texting, hope it is accurate) Mike is heading to Pasco tomorrow, so me and the girls have a care package packed to send her way.
