I told the supervisor today that I felt that "B" should have done more to help me yesterday, as I would have done for her or anyone else. I would have been better off with any other swing manager than with her to help me. I stated that she has yet to speak to me, and this signals that us working together just is not working out. I feel as if I have tried. For whatever reason, I have at least two shifts at the TL location coming up soon. YAY!! That is my home store, from which "B" fired me last summer. I should have been placed there when "B" was sent to my current location, but hey, why ask me? I asked what other managers might I expect to see while I am there, and they said CR. Now I do love the big man, but he was here with me prior to "B". I want to work with by buddies, KP, TZ, EF(yeah, i know you got married, but I dont know the new initial)...perhaps NH....a few of the remaining crew...I think the shifts are a Monday the second, then the next Sunday(the eighth). No chance of seeing KP. Still I look forward to it. See if I can find my way around. Might be fun. I clocked out two minutes early today. YAY! It was still daylight! There has to be good weather coming. The days are getting longer. Mike and I went to Chipotle for dinner. Gotta babysit tomorrow. Shout out to Jen, my new commentor! Come work with me, and we can laugh at this one day. It really can be fun, specially if not in the management ranks. They upped the college book money reimbursment, not that it will pay for all of them, but every bit helps. Getting all this off my chest nightly seems to help. Shannon...sorry if I offended you. You were the best working salaried manager I have ever worked with. Wish you and I were still together. I miss our Thursdays. we gotta figure out a time for your next cooking lesson! Now, if I hurry, I can find those wild monkeys...gotta run! |
