I was asked to work a few hours at the TL location today. Since that was where I last worked, I said, sure, I would love to! Got there around 2:30, and stayed until 8:15 this evening. It was nice seeing crew, and managers alike. One former crew is now a manager, and one former manager is now a crew...weird, but true. I stole a framed sign that was a thank you to me from a guest. Her four year old daughter had battled luekemia for 2 years, and was cancer free, so we closed the playland down entirely one Saturday, and she hosted a "I kicked cancers butt" party. She had previously been given a "Make-A-Wish" wish, and this was the way she wanted to celebrate. The plaque thing was pretty cool, but I wanted to leave it there, so she herself could see it each time she came in. I have since talked to her mother, and she was the one that insisted I take it home, if it meant a lot to me...it does, so I did.

It was great workign with these guys for a day. I really would work there again, if the opportunity arose. Tiem will tell.

Mike had dinner waitng for me. Wasn't much, but I really wasn't feelign liek eating...Oh, Alisha called, asking me if she had chicken pox as a child. I only remember her and Brittany having a very mild case, and I did not confirm it with a doctor at the time. Britt has recently had shingles, and I am under the impression if she were to have had chicken pox, then she would not have had shingles. Not sur if that is true or not, but what could I say? ANyway, seems Chris may have chicken pox right now, and Aurelia has a few bite type things on her, as well. I noticed one after her mid-morning nap yesterday, and I pointed it out to Chris. I said I didn't remember her having that when I layed her down. Hopefully that will all work itself out without major complications.

oh yeah, while I was working at the MC location earlier today, a young woman, with a hubby and 3 kids (one was 3 wks old) came up to me, and shouted..."OMG! I HAVEN"T SEEN YOU IN YEARS!" ummm..."who are you?" For those of you that know me, it was Rene'....Sheila's daughter! Seriously it has been since she was a pre-teen, I think. I gave her my cell phone number, e-mail, and told her to contact me, as well as her mother to do the same. I would love to re-establish friendship with her. I hope that can work out.
