Wow, what a day! We have done our part in getting the economy moving, even if just a little. My day... Met Josepha for a seminar on GPS and Helmet Communications. Realized how much money one needs for a GPS to work well while riding a motorcycle...scary-but very cool. Be nice to have decent bike-to-bike communicating, using something other than hand guestures. Mike had a mandatory meeting in Auburn at noon, so he was not with me, he will have to take my word for it. I stopped at The Jewelery Source, to get an estimate on my ring. I want to add a stone to my wedding ring, for our 25th anniversary next year. Just trying to get a head start on the cost. I can use my McDonald's ten-year ring towards the cost. Be the best thing they gave me. It also has a small diamond in it, that we will put into my new and improved ring. I can finally say I am married to Michael AND Ronald. It will be well worth my investment, and I can save for a year to have to money for it. It will be completed prior to the actual date, if I am lucky. I stopped at home for a very few minutes, got directions to meet up with Mike, and headed to Renton. He called on the way, saying they were done, and so we met at Fry's, because I knew how to get there. We arrived at the same time, I pulled up to the stop light to see them in the car ahead of me. I made him get in the car, and we went to a sports bar, and watched the second half of the UW game. We beat Arizona, and secured no less than a tie for first place. There are a few games to go, but they are way ahead of all expectations. GO DOGS! Called my fellow Chromehead John, and stopped at his place to pick a motorcycle lift that he modified for his "C". He sold his bike, so it was unusable to him. Threw it in the car, and hit IKEA. Spent $90 on shitamuk in a short time. Then finally to Frys, where we were to look at the TVs. I stumbled onto a display of Wii Fits, and bought one. Mike was upset that I was getting something, so he bought Mario Kart for him. It came with a steering wheel, so now he has two of those, so he and Ryan can race each other. The salesman knew less about the TVs than I did, so we left. Stopped at Costco, to find they were closing, and we headed to Video Only, and finally made the TV purchase. It is a 42" LG. He seems happy so far, but yet it is still in the box until tomorrow, when he has rested enough to think straight. I told Ryan and Brittany they can have the old set if they come help him make the switch. That will significantly upgrade theirs. Ate out twice today...ugh...a sports bar, and Fatburger. I need the Wii fit more than ever! Twila, thanks fo the info on shingles. That means I was right that my girls did have chicken pox years ago. I work at TL Monday 10-4, then head to MC for the rest of my shift, and again on Sunday (8th) for an 11-7 shift. I think the reason I am working those, is because no one else will be there. great...that kid Jeff...I called him retarded to his face yesterday...I was joking, and he knew it...I think...but he ain't too bright. |
