Happy Monday! If you read this thing regularly, then you know my Mondays usually go fairly poorly. Not today... I actually get my one hour "off the floor" to do my stuff. I did two weeks worth in 20 minutes, set up my floor plan, changed a 3 gallon ketchup, made a few calls to get the okay to replace a power cord, and helped a friend of mine with some paperwork, and was back in action by 11:00. At some point, I notice there is no tension around the entire place. I asked "L-twin" if she feels it, or realizes what I mean. She smile at me, saying it feels great. She understands that we are working without the scrutiny of someone over our shoulders. Then, the owner came in. I said that she is probably here to take me out to the woodshed. She first wanted Lily for a few minutes, and I whispered to her to tell the truth, and be open. She returned, and sent me out there. I stayed for 20 minutes. We talked about everything. The supervisor came in and joined us. The bottom line, as I see it..."B" is returning to this store. If her and I cannot get along, and just cannot work together, then I will be the one transferred. Right now, the only option to be transferred to is the Monroe store, which is to hell and back. Not exactly the right time to be changing careers, plus I think I would be bored silly at most jobs I would qualify for. At least they do want me, and "B" has been told to throw the dog a bone once in a while. I am sure we will all be sitting together one day soon, and really hashing things out. I made dinner when I got home. We had my grandma's baked chicken, baked potatoes, and corn. I finished that silly little Mike Lupica book, and desperatly need a trip to the library. Until then, I am rummaging around the house for something to tide me over. |
