All went well today, no complaints. I actually had a lot of fun. why? Because I was the only manager there...all day...well, most of the day anyway...two that were there when I arrived at 10 were off before noon, when it got busy. I managed just fine. I got a text from Brittany, asking if they could all come for dinner and game night. I had bought some Asian style ribs (flanken steak) the other day, so it worked out well. I called her, saying the food was in the fridge, and the recipe in the book. Get 'em marinating asap. Get the BBQ set up, and I will grill 'em. I picked Alisha and Aurelia up on the way home from work, and Chris met her here. Ryan brought his XBox, and they played all sorts of games. I think Aurelia stole the show, playing in her toy box. We put her into it, and the pillow behind her, and push her around. She LOVES this game, and her parents laughed and laughed...it was fun. Mike went to Eastern Washington today, and called at 6:45 saying he had just put chains on his truck (5 chains total) and would be late. He made it here around 9:45, but Alisha's family had just left. I managed to get my uniforms washed, and hung. I am so ready for bed! I love my girls for really making time to come over, this has been the best Christmas gift to me ever... |
