I live right here in the convergence zone. It rains moreso on me, than anywhere in the Greater Seattle Area. I have moss growing between my toes...or some kind of mold perhaps...okay, notsomuch. It poured rain all day. I wore my pink floppy hat around, and it made Aurelia laugh. She really likes playing with it in the car, too. It is the one I take on motorcycle trips, to hide my helmet hair. It can stuff into a bag and not look any nastier than it is made to be. Perfect for me, any day of the week. I got the "in and out of the car" thing all worked out pretty good. We made a lot of stops today, and she took it all in stride. Came to my house for lunch, and a few more stops, and to her house for a nap, then a few more stops, and back here to meet her mother. We went to "Voula's Good Eats" for dinner, where Brittany works. I am stuffed, and spent...Aurelia is getting to be a very fast crawler, and she likes trying to outrun me. She really likes being chased around and around and around the kitchen/hall/living room. No wonder I am so tired. That, and all the stairs leading up to the condo...and the fact I can't carry everything in just one trip. I should just start throwing the diaper bag and car seat over the rail, huh? maybe not... Oh, on another note...Chris's MRI last week. The tumor is not significantly different in size than the last one, three months ago (just before Christmas)..The doctor says it is showing signs of more shrinkage. He is on chemo this week, and is not feeling too well, which is normal. Alisha has rented out the indoor soccer arena for his birthday party Friday night. I have an invitation to attend, but holey cow, I am much too old for a a party that starts at 10:30 at night. We bought a couple of movies, and are setting up camp at the condo, where the baby sleeps well. I just hope we don't die driving home in the middle of the night. |
