Thank God for that Baby...

I think my day off today would have been totally worthless, if it weren't for that beautiful baby looking at me and smiling. When I arrived at the condo this morning, Alisha was whispering, and not making much noise. She said Aurelia had woke up in a bad mood, had a bottle, and was so fussy, that she was sent back to bed. I just said alright, I can handle that, no problem. Alisha asked me to join her for lunch, so a date was made for 1:00.

I fixed myslef a bowl of cereal (or two), and read a few days worth old newspapers that I brought along, then I watched Ellen, when I finally hear some cooing coming from her room. I changed her diaper, and got her dressed, and fed her some wake up stuff. We played on the floor for a little while, and she pooped...so, of to clean that mess, when I realized I needed to get moving, since I had one stop to make prior to the lunch date.

We stopped in to see Kay at work, and get a mail in order form for the insurance company, took off rather quick to get to Chipotle, where we met both Alisha and Caitlyn. Aurelia got so excited to see her mommy! She must think she stays there all day, waiting for us to come see her. I saw a good looking guy come in the door, then Aurelia saw him, and she started clapping her hands...Caitlyn looked around, and I said, YAY! HOT GUY! YAY!! It was fun!

I stopped by my doctors office, hoping to score on a bottle of sample pills, and have them fax the form to the mail in place. The receptionist was, let's say...less than cordial. My doctor was "in" today. It is now a walk-in clinic, and I would need to wait up to three days for any of that to happen? WTF? I said, "holy cow, I can just pay my $10 co-pay, and walk right in to see her, and be done with this, and have a pill to take this evening, so that I won't die." The other lady got up off her ass, and said,"The doctor is in the office, on lunch, I will just go ask her." She came right back out, saying, "She says you have your own pill splitter, right? We only have the 40mg pills" I answer, "yes, she has been my doctor for years, she knows me pretty well." I got the damn pills, she faxed the RX in, and hopefully, I won't die of this any time soon.

I met up with Caitlyn, and the three of us went looking for something for my friend Temple. Stopped at Cash&Carry, then found what she wanted at the business center Costco. It looks like some sort of boat paddle, but it is really a pizza peel (?)...Temple wants to use it for a giant hamburger flipper over an open fire-pit. I am taking my own dinner, as I don't want any part of this burger...redneck...lol, I love her, I really do!

Dinner here was homemade pizzas...nothing too spectacular. The forecast looks decent enough to ride to work tomorrow. Saturday is a car trip to Centralia for Kish's Birthday Bash, with the giant burger. We would ride there, but I have to work on Sunday, so we can stay a little later this way. My Chromehead group is having a get-together on Sunday, and I am sending Mike to meet the guys, and learn how to adjust the valves on my bike. He will also change the oil while there. Those guys love to work on the bikes together, so fine with me that I am working. Mike will be paid, trust me...
