I have a big secret that I am keeping from everyone I work with. It is hard to keep it, and I am struggling each day. Dan has his 2 weeks notice in, as he found another job. He was pestering me about that, asking me questions about if I will miss him, and how much I enjoy working with him, and so on...I answered all his questions truthfully, but based on information I know, but he doesn't. He seemed offended, yet that was not my intent. I am sorry Dan. I have enjoyed working with you. Your girlfriend drives my nutty however. She lacks a sense of humor, and takes everything too seriously. Don't ask me to aprove her (a trainer) switching shifts with a trainee, for a day I am not even working, and that kid has never even worked a breakfast shift prior. The managers involved that day would have skinned me alive, as I would them for doing that to me. It was a glorious day outside today! Absolutly beautiful! I rode the BMW, with the pink jacket. I didn't wear my riding pants over my uniform pants for the trip home, as I was pretty warm, and wanted to feel it. Not a smart choice, but it felt good. I rode up that huge hill, with my face to the sun at 6:30pm. I could not see the traffic signals, even with my sunglasses on. It hurt my eyes so bad, I had to pull over, and rub them. I am not sure if it is allergies or what, but I was tearing up so badly, I just could not go on. After a bit of a break, I had no problems. Weird... Mike sent me a text while I was working. He asked, what time I get off work. I replied for him to meet me there at six, and we can go for a ride. HE then said he just wanted to know what time to fire up the bbq. That was fine, I can change my mind. He had dinner of steak kabobs, fried potatoes, and pineapple near ready when I arrived. On "The Warded Man"...Seriously, I cannot wait to get to reading this book each night. Not like me to take a book to work, because I am always late coming off my breaks when I do that, plus, it makes the book go so fast, I am done before I know. I read at night only, but this book has kept me awake reading far too late. I will finish it tonight or tomorrow night. When will the second book be in print? |
