What a day! I am exhausted to tht point of sleeping through this entry.

Started out this morning, going to yard sales with Brittany and Caitlyn. Some of the housing developments in Mill Creek are so tight that you cannot negotiate two cars down the same road. We found it easier to park the car on hte bigger roads, and just walk through the neighborhood. We could hit 10 sales at a time this way. THought that next time, we should steal a grocery cart from a store, and push it down the street. Think there is a law against that?

I found a wooden cruiser motorcycle rocking toy for Aurelia. I think she is too small for it right now, but by the time Mike can restore it, she will be ready. It sort of looks like my bike, so it will get finished with that detail. I want to try to put a better seat on it, and maybe take it to Rich;s Custom Seats, like I did, and have him put a gel pad, and leather....maybe a bit too much detailing, but we are grandparents now. What the hell...

We found one sale where two men were left in charge. (note to women: do not leave your men to tend a yard sale) These guys were giving away everything in the garage that wasn't nailed down. We took two boxes of their "crap"...We ended up with a 14" circular fan, 12 anime dvd movies (my sisters daughter will go friggen nuts over these), 10 decent dvds (crash, super troopers, the longest yard, the brothers grimm, among others), a Plum Series book, several anime comic books FOR FREE...I felt bad, so the men showed us a dollar bill they had stapled to the wall. They said that is all the money they have made today. I said I felt as if they deserve to double their money, so we gave them another dollar. It was promptly stapled to the wall, too.

I got two really cool dispenser things for the kitchen. Big clear plastic, tight sealed, with a turn dial on the bottom. She said it is for cereal, but I plan on using one for coffee beans, and the other for popcorn kernals. They look great, and were $5 each. Alton Brown has the exact same in his tv kitchen. (I love Alton) I got a few CD's for a dollar each. I really need to load them on the computer, and spend some quality time redoing my mp3 player. I think I am getting a new phone soon, so I can wait.

We met my Redneck girlfriend for dinner prior to the Seattle Mariner game tonight. That was a whole lotta fun, we need to get together more often. She had to get back to C-town tonight, so they didnt stay long. Really need to try to take a Friday off, and just go hang out with those peeps for a weekend.

Survived another day without swine flu...Even if I work within a mile of the clinic where the doctor with it sits.
