Today went pretty well. I was not in charge at all. I kept saying goodbye to each crew member as they left for the day, and to each manager, too. Acutally when I arrived, an Indian woman about my age, ran to me, and embraced me in a giant hug, and she swept a tear from her eye, saying goodbye to me. It made me a bit emotional, and I told her how much she had meant to me. Only one manager gave me a hug, and she told me that she loved me, and would miss me a great deal. I felt the same about her, I really enjoyed working with her. When "B" left, she only wanted to make sure that Scott could find the box he would need when he arrived. Whatever...

I counted the deposit from 5-6 this evening. When I was finished, I took my keys and placed them into the safe, and left a note telling "B" where to find them. As I was clocking out at the end of my shift at 7, Ben answered a telephone call from "B". He said to be that she wanted to make sure that I leave my keys at the store. She has always assumed that any person that isn't her, is dumber than a rock, and has no thought process whatsoever. As I left, I deleted her contact information from my cell phone. Hopefully I will never have to answer to her again.

My new boss called to speak with "B" tonight, but she had already left for the day. I asked him if there was anything I could do for him, and he said, "Nope, I will see you in the morning!" I am not too sure how I will be utilized, but I am willing to do whatever they ask of me. Hopefully we can work out a schedule that is consistant.

a few funny things happened today...(remember my sense of humor is from the business side of the counter)

1) We called out the guys number a thousand times, 5 minutes later he picks it up...yes, then complains his fries are cold...idiot, they do not stay warm sitting waiting for you

2) guy didn't like the southern style chicken sandwich...no shit, no one likes it, it is a terrible item. I just replaced it for free today, because I was in such a good mood.

3) Asian woman complains because there is no toy in her kids meal box. I show her it is a music cd that fits snugly at the bottom, under the food. SHe takes it out, and holds it up, and asks, "Is it bouy or gur?" "HUH?" "Bouy or gur?" "It is MUSIC, whomever is near can listen to it." "My son want toy", as she walked away with it...

We had my gramas baked chicken for dinner tonight. I started reading "Because I Said So" by blogger mom Dawn Meehan last night. As a faithful follower of her blog, it is a lot of the same, yet it has made me laugh a few times. I enjoyed "The Horse Boy", but I doubt that the family of every autistic child can take the trip to Mongolia to help deal with their troubles. We need shamans more easily accesible.
