WOW! I really like this store! I like the people! I like it all! and best of all, they like me back!

Seriously, I really had a great day, I hope everyone else did too. It does mean a lot to me to be wanted, maybe that is childish of me, but that is the way I am...

I got a lot of welcome back hugs, and it was great. Even customers were asking me where had I been. A few of them said welcome back to me. I am thinking of bringing my artwork back to that place, and rehanging it where it should be. One of them is a picture of Ronald's boots. It was a promotional sign at one time. I have always had a thing with his boots, a sort of collection if you will. Anyway, that poor old sign had been hanging in the lobby for over a year, and I always had my eye on it. Ronald was actually in-store one day, and I went and ripped it from the ceiling, and had him sign it for me. We took picutes of his doing the signing, and it says, "To Peggy from Ronald" in his writing. I took it to a friend of mine, whom does professional framing, and he cleaned it up, and framed it, with the picture of Ronald writing on it enclosed. It turned out extremely well, and I took it home the day "B" fired me. I figured it was mine, and it had my name on it, and I paid for the framing...It has sat on the floor in my room since last summer.

The other one is from a little girl named Kameron. She was celebrating her 5th birthday with a "I kicked Cancers butt" party. She had not been able to play with other children during her battle, for 2 or 3 years. She wanted to celebrate at McDs with an all day party, closing the playland down, for just her group. I did that. We hung pictures of her before, during and after her battle. She had a blast, and the family brought a framed sign for us to hang, that had a big thank you note, directed to me. I had left it at the store, so Kameron would see it when she visits, but her mother got hold of me at the other store, and insisted I take it home, so I did.

So a short story about that Mariner game the other night. It was windy, and a bit cold. Our seats were in the 300 level, near the front, in the handicap area, which sits us right in front of a tunnel into the seating area, from the concourse. This creates a wind tunnel, directly at us. We were cold, and wanting to get away a bit. Anyway, a vendor, selling cotton candy had made his way to us, from the seats. He headed into that tunnel, back towards the concurse. Problem with that, was the 50 MPH wind cutting through caused his cotton candy to become airborn, and fly, fly away...omg, I watched as they took flight, and some floated down to the 100 level. Those folks must have wondered what had happened that cotton candy is flying from the heavens into their laps. One of the kids with us (10 yr old Jamie) was able to grap hold of one succesfully obtaining free sugar, like she needed more. It was funny to see that poor guy grab what was left, and head out fast.

I refuse to tell you what was for dinner tonight. Lets just say that tomorrow is Cinco De Mayo, and I want Mexican food so that threw Mikes plan into a tizzy. ah, yeah...what would you do with cooked hamburger meat at 7:45 pm?
