All three of my kids had said they didn't have much chance of spending any time with me today, as their schedules were full. I thought either they had some surprise planned, or their were truthful about it. I figured I would not make any plans for myself, as I didn't want to ruin anything they might have in store.

I didn't see anything special when I left for work at 2:45 this moring, but then again, I didn't figure I would even have my eyes open enough to bother.

Work was VERY busy, as I worked only the breakfast portion of the day. Their were a lot of dads in with the kids, and massive big orders. We got killed, and needed help, but there just wasn't much we could do. Got through it, and we were all in good moods, not harping on each other. That part I enjoyed.

I barely remember driving hom, and I did not pass go, nor collect $200 before going to bed. Mike felt bad, as he had pulled all the sheets off the bed, but really, I didn't care. I climbed in with a throw blanket, and just slept hard for two hours. Felt much better when I woke this time.

I found a lovely lilac bouquet from Brittany, with a home made flavor infused olive oil bottle. It looks tasty, and can't wait to try it out. Alisha had given me a camp ball ice cream maker the other day, so Caitlyn bought the ingredients to a recipe, and helped make that this afternoon.

We went to Voula's Good Eats (Where Brittany and Cailtyn both work) for dinner. My entree' came with a blackberry cobbler, so I took it to go, and had it with that ice cream...omg, YUM!

I am fading again very fast, so off to bed I go...My schedule this week is far better than last week. Nothing earlier than 9:00 am, and nothing later than 8:00 pm.

Hope everyone had a Happy Mother's Day...I miss my mom. (I listened to John Michaels Montgomery CD yesterday, and cried as he sang the song that my brother-in-law John sang at her service last year, titled, "No Man's Land".
