I switched shifts with the boss, and worked much earlier than usual. I would do that each and every Sunday, so I can relax a bit before the coming week. Very nice... We have a girl, woman, kid...not so sure her age, as she looks very young, yet she is available during high school hours, so that tells me she is legally an adult. Anyway, she seems to think she knows everything, and complains about everything. A couple months ago this girls somehow stuck her hand in a vat for whatever reason, if that tells you part of her intelligence level. She cannot lift anything heavy, because she hurt herself a few weeks ago while at work. I am ready to send her home each and every time I work with her, as soon as she annoys me. That means it will happen fast. Today, she was working a front counter, and would walk off to get something, and I would start taking the next order, as I cannot leave a guest standing there. She would then assume that I am now the front counter person, and she would start doing my job. I gained two crew, sent one to clean the lobby, and the other to the kitchen. I then asked someone else to take a break. This girl turns to me (away from the lady whom is placing an order) and proceeds to tell me, "That is not a good idea right now". WTF? When did I die and leave her in charge? She continued to push all of my buttons for the remainder of her shift. I got a few things worked out, like who can work my shift that didn't make it to the far end of my vacation, and who will call in the coin order in my absence. I finally tracked my 'Food Handler's Card' last week, ony to find it had expired. Guess I will add that to my list of things to do on Tuesday. Always good to have one day at home that you don't have to work, before you leave for a week. I have so much to do Tuesday that I do not know how I will fit it all in. I don't want to wash my bike, as that trip will get it grimier than it is now. I do want to wash the insides of my saddlebags. Not sure how I will pack. I have the option of using them as suitcases, they pop right off, or stuffing my crap into bags, and then into the saddlebags. I am sure I will need more room...two saddlebags, one huge tank bag, and one athletic type sports bag. Also have the option of strapping my Keen messenger type tote to the top of it all, or dropping it into an empty saddlebag. The things I contemplate for days... Dinner tonight was leftover pork roast turned into Hash, with hashbrowns and gravy. Mike and I watched two more CSI episodes, one while eating dinner, and the other with a bowl of popcorn. Anyone see that bike that Laurence Fishburne rode while investigating the biker bar brawl? Nice bike... |
