I think the thing that most excites me about my trip is going solo on the bike. I am always following someone, usually Mike. I have most all my stuff ready to pack, but I can't really do that part until I am ready to go. It is supposed to rain here in the morning, and it will be a cold, wet trip for the first leg..approx 125 miles. I hear there is a lot of road destruction as I get close to Ellensburg, so I will take a slight detour through Cle Elum (think Northern Exposure). Not sure when it will get warm, but I will need to strip down a layer or two, and find room to fit my cold weather gear onto the bike. I am packing snacks, and a water bottle. I will stop to eat somewhere, not sure if I will make that all the way to Yakima or not. Gotta love me a Miner Burger. Not sure if my pace will be slower or faster without a pace bike leading me. I have a feeling I will be a bit faster, as I will try to get parts of it over with. Time will tell.

The stories I promised to write about yesterday. Two brothers work at the TL location with me. A friend of Kellys came through the drive thru, and was showing Kelly his new tattoo. I saw what was going on, and lets just say this old lady is married, not dead. The tattoo was on his upper right chest, and as big as my whole hand. The guy had a very nice chest, and I was needing some eye candy. Not wanting to have it all to myself (well Kelly didn't count) I called the Diva One from the office to see. I said you have got to see this! So he came a runnin'...Diva pushed Kelly out of the way when he saw that bare chest, and proceeded right up to the window. He relaxed a bit, and even talked to the guy. Now the guys eyes got big as saucers, as he realized he was being checked out by a member of the male sex, and what was I to do at this point? Hell, I called the other gay man to come see, since the guy was sharing...omg, I nearly died laughing. I told Kelly that his friend would probably never return, and he agreed with me, but he thought it was pretty darned funny, too. The Diva asked the kid if he was willing to share anything else...I just remeber that kids eyes...and the look of help and desparation in them. Hell, he should be flattered, huh? Even the other gay dude, fresh out of the closet was beaming.

The little Asian lady came in. She somehow manages to order, without speaking, just pointing. She carried a long handled umbrella, and was using it as a pointing device, and I tried to take it from her, so I could use it to touch the pictures on the menu board. She must have thought I was going to steal it or something, and grabbed it out of my hands and looked as if she was going to use it on my head. I felt a bit threatened, and wanted so much for someone else to deal with her. Finally, I was able to use it and pointed at a snack wrap. She jiumped up and down with glee and excitement. Now, once you get that part settled, there is SIX choices to make. omg, I just chose one for her, and be done with it. Hope she liked it. She takes so much time getting money from her purse, and every coin, and then she has no comprehension of the face value of any of it. We have to take what we need to make the transaction. I see her coming in the door, and I take off out the back.

I went to get my Food Handlers Permit renewed today. (must say, I got the usual 100%) Or more correctly, to get one, since mine expired last year. (mind you, while "B" was the boss, and no written warning to me that it was coming due). Not like I had anything going on in my life last year at this time. What gets me was that her and I went together to get our cards 6 years ago. She did not miss her deadline, yet mine was swept under the carpet. I ran into an old friend at the class. Worked with her at a McD's on Aurora Ave, with the prostitutes and the meth casualties. The local state run meth clinic is just a block away, and we got some very interesting clientel. She was late to work, as she just had to get that card, so I took her to work. We got to catch up on a lot of stuff. Decided while we both depised Stella, Winnie probably hated her even more. Her store is looking really good these days. They demolished the entire thing, and built a whole new store, complete with a traffic signal, and crosswalks, and bus stops on both sides of the road. Very nice indeed, 'cept for the hookers and meth heads...

I served up nachos for dinner tongiht, with leftover Tequila Lime Turkey. Hell, I didn't want to do much, and I didn't want leftovers to come home to next Monday. I will try to leave here by 10am. Traffic should be down, and ready for me to without much slowdown. Hopefully I sleep well tonight, as I do have a big day.

Not too sure on computer or internet connections awaiting me. I will try to leave updates. Don't assume I am dead if I don't let ya know I got there. Some of you can just text me and leave a comment here on on your own post that I made it. But mostly, I doubt anyone will care...hehehe, j/k
