I have been having a pitty party all by myself. I should be happy that I am employed. I will try to see the good things, and get over the crap I cannot change.

I rode the bike over to the condo today, and then drove Chris' Lexus to my house with Aurelia. Brittany met me here, and hse entertained the baby for quite some time, while I was here too. When it was time for Brittany to leave, she tried handing the baby over to me, but she really wanted her Auntie Brittany over me. It really was cute! Of course Brittany does a lot of lifting, and playing, while I do a lot of sitting on the floor with her. It really made Brittany happy, and she stayed a bit longer.

Caitlyn made it home in time to stay with Aurelia so I could take Mickey back to the vet. It was the same emergency hospital she was seen at on Sunday, yet a different doctor. She seemed to agree with the first doc that Mickey has had an acl injury at some point in her life. If that is true, I don't understand how it went undetected by us. She has alway had mobility problems, but her regular vet never diagnosed anything like this. I asked about differnt pain/anti-inflamatory drugs. She sayd there are 3 basic choices, and the one she gave us the first time is probably the best one for her situation. She needs to take half a pill daily for a while, and see how she does, then we can buy it in bulk for a discount. She gave me a trial bottle of 7 pills. that, with the few we have left over will last a while, I guess. Mickey sits like a lump all day until Ellie (Brittanys dog) comes over, then Mick runs all over the place. The vet said she really should not be doing the quick starts and stops, but I don't know how to stop that, and really, when Ellie comes over is the only excersize that Mickey is getting. (Mickey was named for Mickey Mantel, not the Mouse)

I was starving when Caitlyn, Aurelia and I went grocery shopping, yet I still didn't have much food in the cart. After telling Cait that is totally unexeceptable, I started throwing food into the cart. I hate not having food to eat, and I knew I have not been shopping in a while. We needed bread, milk, macaroni...heck, everything under the sun. Still, I spent less than a hundred dollars, and I swear there is nothing here to eat.

I stopped at my new store on the way home, hoping to find the manager. She had left already, so I just went home. I need to make some ammends with her. I really don't want her worrying about the store while she is on her vacation next week. Seriously, I can handle the job, I just wanted to be handling it somewhere else. I will try to make it in there on Friday morning, prior to my shift starting.

I do need to write down my days off requests that I just put into the second book, and get them into the third stores book. I am begining to think none of the stores want me. I still have my new health card sitting in my tote bag (purses are for girls), not sure if I need to make three copies of it, and just put them into each stores files. I wonder how many times you can run it through a copier before it heats up so much the face turns black?

Mike did up BBQ burgers for dinner tonight. He even scooped ice cream, served with that one slice of chocolate cake from last night.
