I just finished working an overnight shift. I was supposed to be off at 3am, but I stayed until 4, because one of the openers called in sick. It was too late for me to find a replacement, I tried a few, to no avail...the opening manager was able to find someone suitable to come in a bit earlier than scheduled, I hope she survives. I am too tired to care much right now. I had a 'me' day Sunday. SHannon came over to the house, and she waxed my arms. That was a first for her, but all went fairly well, except for the obvious, but that is all good. I then went alone, and had my nails done. Got the same summer pink that I usually get, I love it. I then went for a much needed haircut. I reread this journal to find my last haircut, knowing she had cut it too short, and thinking I may never need another one. I found that I went for 9 weeks. That is a very long time for me, as I keep short hair. I came home, and read for a while, then tried taking a nap. That didn't work out too well, so I just layed there, and got up and went to work. I found a note saying the boss would be returning from her vacation today, and those of us that did not get our "tasks" done, she is going to be pretty upset with us. I have not had time to even start mine, let alone finish it. Not sure when I was supposed to find the time, maybe come in on an off day, or stay late? I guess we will see next time, when I go into overtime to get these things completed. I was able to get some of it done through the overnight shift, but not complete. When I got up from my non-nap, Mike had a taco casserole ready. It was pretty good, I am lucky to have him. I am falling asleep, and I am not going to proof read this before I hit save entry...sorry. If you read this a lot, you are probably somwhat used to it by now...I realy can spell half decent, I just can't type, and think at the same time....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz |
