WHat a relaxing day, for the mostpart. No alarm, no rushing, just doing things as they come about.

Mike and I rode out to Stanwood today, and got his work shirts from the embroidry shop. They look great, very professional. His company only provided two shirts per driver, then they are charging them for any more. Lets just say they are filthy dirty every day. If we have to pay for a shirt anyway, they should be moisture wicking, performance shirts. So, he found golf polo shirts that fit that bill, and then the most conservative embroidery shop and put it together, and will charge each driver actual cost. Pays to be the lead driver. I don't think the others have ever had moisture wicking clothing so they should be thrilled with this summer weather we have been having.

On the way home, we of course took the long way. Over I-5 to highway 9 and south to Arlington, Jordan Road, Lake Stevens...Fuel stop near King Charlie's. Once we arrived home, Mike showed me a white burn spot on his riding pants. I was puzzled, and asked how that happened. He said he got too close to my exhaust system while fueling my bike. uhoh...What does my chrome look like? I headed out to see...yeah, big black rubber crap on the bend. Looks terrible...any ideas how to get that off without scratching? Or turning it all blue?

Once home, we let Brittany and Caitlyn know we would meet them at the Verizon store for our new phone upgrades. Best to just go all together and do it at the same time. Call me crazy but we let Brittanys long time BF get his own line on our plan. I know where his mother lives...Actually, I think it will be fine. They are sharing her phone now, and I never know just whom it is that texts me back. This way it should just be easier in the long run. I told him if he ever leaves her, I want the phone back... that is all I care about...While he laughed out loud, Brittany yelled at me...in a kidding sort of way, as I had intended the message anyway.

While I was the only one to not get a new phone, as they didn't have the one I wanted in stock, I sat around waiting. Alisha soon texted me, and we made dinner plans. Her and Aurelia came over for BBQ chicken, rice, corn and watermelon...oh, I guess they had a salad, but not me. It was a good day here.
