flipping tired? I am begining to think it is some weird medical condition. Too bad I never have time to see a doctor, maybe it could be fixed. In the meantime, I will just try to go to bed earlier. Last night it was after midnight when I finally hit the bed. That is just much too late, but when I work until eight, and then Brittany and Caitlyn are both here, I tend to just sit and visit for a while...maybe too long. Not so sure if I was just mising some crucial sleep today, or what. I did make it to the condo by 8:15 this morning, to find the door locked, and it pretty dark inside. I knocked twice, and waited for a few mintues. I then sent a text, so I didn't have to pound on the door. Alisha came running, and apologizing, with a toothbrush and toothpaste in her mouth. She then opended the bathroom door to let the showering Chris know his mother-in-law was there (not to come running naked down the hall, I suspect) I promtly layed down on the couch, and fell fast asleep. When ALisha came out of the bedroom, yelling an obscenity at the clock, asking if it really was that late, it startled me awake. I was already dreaming at that point, and probably drooling. I was able to bring Aurelia to my house, and leave her with Caitlyn, and take Mickey to the vet for a follow-up visit. Her knee seems to be better, but we needed more pain meds, some flea stuff, and the second of two vaccinations for some disease that I do not know the name of. Something about the accidental ingestion of opposum or racoon urine from a tennis ball that may have rolled through a puddle. We then all met Alisha for lunch at Chipotle Mexican Grill. Caitlyn, Aurelia and I headed to Costco to get dogfood and a few other things that I just didn't have time for on yesterdays trip. We came straight home, and I nearly fell asleep on my couch. Caity looked at me, and just said to go to bed, so I did. I slept hard for two hours. It is now four hours later, and all I want to do is go lay down. I work at seven in the morning, so it would probably be good to get a full nights rest. Maybe even eat something before heading in. Bliss, I tell ya... Dinner was a rotiserrie chicken, picked clean of meat (we ate the meat part, duh), with Stubbs BBQ sauce, on toasted buns, with chips and corn. |
