Wow, what a day at work! I was in such a good mood, through it all...I was already short TWO shifts when I arrived, yet the assistant manager just kept on bitchin' about cutting labor. I sort of cocked my head sideways, as if to say, holy crap, can't somebody else do it on their shift instead? So I sent TWO more people home, 45 mintues early...then what did the assistant do? Pulled off the floor, and into the office for an hour...grrrrrr....down 5 now, if you arte keeping track. FIVE!!! I sturggled at times, and the drive thru was moving ever so slow. GOd knows I would not have had an extra hand to run an order out to a parked car. Whatever...I still stayed in a good mood.

Even when the little Hispanic woman, with her shirt flapping open for me to nearly see her entire breasts...sheeeesh, even if I was interested, I would not have been interested...anyway, she says she was in last night (I was working at the other store) and 1) they left the recepit on the TABLE 2) Every item they had was worng, or bad, or something...She wanted me to replace EVERYTHING! WITH NO PROOF!! No receipt, no food, no paper scraps...nothing! Oh, and she was from Oregon, AND her phone doesn't work...right...SO, I tell her I will do this: I will replace the Quarter Pounder, AND the cup of coffee...NOTHING ELSE. period. Sort of take it or leave it, she didn't give me many options. She took it. She asked for something like 5 creams, and 7 sugars in her coffee, so that is what I put IN IT. She then asked for more sugar. I put the entire container on the counter for her. SHE LEFT EVERY PIECE OF GARBAGE ON THE FRIGGEN COUNTER! Slob...then she came trhough the drive thru a little while later, thank goodness I was handing her food out, and I knew I had the entire order correct. Wish I would have known it was her prior to that though...hehehe

So I said my goodbyes...to the crew and to the regulars. A lot of them were not too happy I was leaving. Some of the crew ould like to transfer with me, but that isn't allowed, but I told them I would put in a good word for them. There are a lot of very good employees at that store. A few do have some opportunities...let's leave that at that...

No idea what Mike did for dinner tonight, as I came home around 11pm. I have to be back at 9am, as the new store probably had no idea what time I was off tonight. I am washing my uniforms too, so I will have to wait to hang them up, as that is easier than ironing. Probably only a few minutes in the dryer, and hang up one set over a heater turned to low setting. We had a lot of thunder and lightning tonight. Kind of cooled the whole place down.
