We listen to the radio at work quite a bit. The kids use the same radio station, all day, every day. I swear that this radio station plays a soundtrack continuous loop, with 10 songs. The one song that I just could not hear one more time today, has the line (I don't know if it is the title of the song) "Birthday Sex". It just repeats those words, over and over. One guy said his 6 year old daughter sings that line around the house. I was appalled at that. Change the friggen station, for goodness sake! I was fed up, and changed it to classic rock. I was done with the birthday sex. Within an hour, someone had changed it back to that other station, so I went and pulled to plug. Tomorrow is my birthday, and I will be okay with birthday sex at home, but not in my head, pounding mynerves all day. I definately will not be listening to the song at home. Work is going great, I really like this store. There are a lot of opportunities, but I am sure we will overcome most of them. Tomorrow I will finally meet my boss, after I have been there for one complete week. She has been gone but returns in the morning. I see we have a meeting scheduled on Thursday afternoon, but I will not attend, as I should be arriving to visit my redneck friends for the extended weekend around that same time. I am really looking forward to this weekend. The solo ride to get there, the good times in store once there, the ride with friends on Saturday, all of it. We are cramming a lot of stuff into a few days, I hope I survive. Mike had dinner ready when I came home tonight, even if it consisted of leftovers. I was glad to see food! |
