I swear time is flying by, faster and faster each year. I need to migrate south, with my brothers perhaps... Not really, I do enjoy all four seasons, and I am sure I would miss the rain and snow. Just that I would like warmer weather for longer. Work went well today, considering one of the managers is out these days. Her father was to have surgery today, and highly likely he would not survive. I want her and the family to know my thoughts are with them, and she does not need to worry about anything conserning us. Just do what you need to do, and come back when you think it is okay to do that. Next week, the assistant goes on vacation, and one of our swings is quitting. Kays' hours have been reduced, as she wanted it that way. This means we will be short-handed in the managment ranks, but I am sure we will survive. Hopefully it means I get better hours, or more consistant hours. School starts soon, and those hours when the kids are at school will be harder to staff with crew. I started typing this out, then took a 30 minute absence from it, and now it is so late, I gotta get to bed. Mike made tacos for dinner... |
